Our Town comes into play

Fossil Ridge’s theatre department opens the classic play, Our Town, in just a few short days. The play is being directed by Kristin Rust and John Garner, with leads Chris Martella playing George Gibbs and Miranda Bateman as Emily Webb. Our Town is a three act play that was written in 1938. Based on the lives of the characters, it is set in the small town of Grover’s Corners in the early 1900’s. By the end of the show, you know the ins and outs of the town and its people. The audience’s interpretation is the main part of this play. With no props and a very limited set, you have to imagine everything the way you would wish to think of it. The actors supplement and help bring to life the world that is presented in the script. The Fossil Ridge Theatre has put time and effort into making this the best show produced for your entertainment and imagination.

“Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it? – every, every minute?”
