Placing 4th at the 5A state tournament

Josh Caridi, Dillion Stewart, Jack Hastings, and Cam Lampe all qualified for the 5A state golf tournament in grand junction. To prepare for state they have been playing many practice rounds at Ptarmigan Country Club. They left Saturday the 24th to have a practice round before the actual tournament. “I practiced my short game a lot before state.” Stated Josh Caridi.

After two days of playing at the state tournament, Fossil Ridge placed fourth over all.

Josh Carid: 9th (+3 over par)

Dillion Stewart: 16th (+8 over par)

Jack Hastings: 33rd (+13 over par)

Cam Lampe: 49th (+19th over par)

“The season was great this year. Playing with some of the top high school players in Colorado was really exciting.” Stated Caridi. The Sabercats have dominated this season with winning regionals and placing in the top three at many tournaments.
