Blowing the crowd away

Blowing the crowd away

On Monday and Tuesday, December 12 and 13, Fossil Ridge High School’s band put on a different kind of concert, a collage concert, featuring numerous small ensembles that flowed from one to the next.

Both nights featured different songs by various groups of students. The tunes ranged from jazz to classical, and the two jazz bands added an additional sound that stood out. All bands are now  starting to work on songs and arrangements for their next concert in the second semester. Numerous band students are looking forward to improving upon their skills and to show their peers what they have been doing. Students such as Emma Meyer who’s “excited to get new music for next semester.” The Fossil bands are well on their way to another successful year.

Hello! Great article on the band concert. Just one question, why is there no article on the orchestra concert? We worked just as hard on our music as they did, I think we deserve to have an article on our performances as well.

      Hi,
I would agree, you deserve to have an article on your performances as well. We were unable to have any reporters attend the concert, but we’re working on getting an article about it up as soon as possible!
