Boys swimming dives into first place

Friday, April 28, Fossil Ridge boys swim team competed in the Mountain View invite and competed against 12 schools. The boys got first place fishing with 926 points. Below are the combined team scores.

Fossils boys swim and diving team were state champions last year, so it is no surprise that they won by over 350 points.Event one was the 200 yard medley relay race. Fossil finished in 3rd place, and the competitors were Arnold Pfahnal, Brennon, Houchin, Danny Kovack, and Sasha Chappell. Junior, Danny Kovack got 2nd place in the 200 yd IM, he finished with the time of 1:55.07 and earned 27 points for the sabercats. Junior, Alex Henderson got 4th place in the boys 200 yd IM, he ended with a time of 2:04.09 and received 25 for the team.

The sabercats next meet is Friday, May 12th at the Front Range League Championship. Wish them luck next time you see your sabercat boy swimmers!!!
