Unified Soccer takes the win in a close game

On Wednesday, April 26, the Fossil Ridge High School Unified Soccer team defeated the Poudre High School Impalas in a close game. The final score was 5-4 after a major comeback by the Impalas in the second half.

The first goal of the game was scored by Dawson Coker, followed by a point by Dee White. After nine more minutes, the Impalas scored their first goal, leaving the score at 2-1 at halftime.

Two minutes into the next half, David Knuckey scored for the Sabercats, bringing it to 3-1. Fossil’s lead was strengthened with William Armstrong’s goal, which brought the score to 4-1. Then, Poudre scored twice, putting the Sabercats on edge. Luckily, time ran out right as Fossil scored again just at the end, solidifying their victory.
The next Unified Soccer game will be Monday, May 1 at 7pm. This will be senior night, so come support your Sabercats!
