After an outstanding win against Highlands Ranch High School the Fossil Ridge High School girls came back to school to show everyone their skills. Winning both their games on Tuesday, January 9 and Friday, January 12.

On Tuesday Fossil played Loveland High School at home leading the scoreboard in every quarter. Coming off such a confidence boosting win, it was no surprise that the Sabercats did so well in their first week back. Quarter one ended 11-8, not a great lead to start out but Fossil always comes back. The last three quarters the Indians trailed behind, the second quarter ended 18-9 and the third quarter ended 20-13. The last quarter was closer than the Sabercats would have liked, yet they still prevailed, winning 15-9. The game ended 64-39, starting Fossil off on a strong note for the week.

Varsity player Kaysen Hobbs said she wasn’t too excited for the game against Poudre High School on Friday. The Sabercats travelled to Poudre’s home court to win the game 61-22. Fossil dominated every quarter with significant leads over the Impalas. Quarter one ended 12-2 and the second quarter ended 32-5. The third quarter ended 54-9 and the game ended 61-22. Another district rival beat by the Sabercats.

Come out to support Fossil away at Rocky Mountain High School for another district rivalry game on Tuesday, January 16.
