Stephen Barlock

Republican candidate Stephen Barlock is starting his political career. His previous experience includes working on current Governor John Hickenlooper’s campaign for mayor and as the Denver co-chair of President Trump’s campaign in Colorado. He considers himself a “statist” and a nationalist. He also considers himself to be the only candidate that has been completely loyal to President Trump since the beginning of his campaign. His main focus is reforming PERA which provides over 560,000 public employees like educators, State Troopers, and snow plow drivers retirement and other benefits. Securing water rights is is his second most important issue that he wants to focus on. He wants to work with the legislature to secure 250 million dollars without raising taxes and believes that TABOR and PERA can be balanced without damage to one or the other.
