The City Meet for  boys swimming at diving teams took place on April 24th at Epic. Fossil Ridge, Fort Collins, Rocky, and Poudre all completed at this meet. For the sabercats this was the 9th consecutive time that they have won the city meet. Fossil Ridge had a total of 754.5 points, Rocky came second with 536.5 points, Fort Collins received third place with a total of 487 points, and Poudre had a total of 224 points.Below are results from a few of the events that took place at the meet.

The second event was the 200 freestyle race. Matt Geraghty took first place with a time of 1:45.13 and earned Fossil 20 points. Lars Worlund had a time of 1:45.27 and placed second, earning 17 points. With a time of 1:51.41, Christian Conrady placed third, earning 16 points. Josh Goodrich ended up in tenth place with a time of 2:01.15, earning seven points for the Sabercats. There was a total of 60 points earned for Fossil from this one event.

The third event was the 200 IM. Richard Dauksher took first place with a time of 1:58.22, earning Fossil 20 points.. Matyi Mayo had a time of 2:08.23 and received third place, earning  16 points.Ryan Wallick came in seventh place and had a time of 2:14.00, earning the team 12 points. Sasha Chappell had a time of 2:16.56 and ended up in eighth, Chappell earned points. From this event the Sabercats earned a total of 59 points for the team.

Congratulations to the team for winning the city meet. The Sabercats next meet is the conference meet at Mountain View High School on May 11.
