Fossils unified basketball team went down with a fight against Rocky

Friday February 19th, Fossil Ridges unified basketball team had an away game against Rocky Mountain High School. At 6pm the Varsity team started and had an entire gym cheering for each team. With a super close finish, Rocky beat Fossil, 44 to 42.

Soon after the Varsity game, the JV team took the court ready to play. After the first half Rocky took the lead with 18 to 14. The half time show had special needs kids dance and everyone’s eyes were on them. “My favorite part about Unified basketball is that I get to play in the games, with my friends and the crowd is cheering for us.” said Dee White. When the end of the game came around Rocky beat fossil, 39 to 35.

Come to the next unified basketball game against Poudre at 5.30 pm, on February 22.
