Fossil boys tennis takes over the Western Slopes

Fossil boys tennis takes over the Western Slopes

This past weekend, the Fossil Ridge tennis team went to serve up some real heat among the other competitors in the beautiful city of Grand Junction. The Tournament lasted from Friday, August 26th to Saturday, August 27th. However, the team was not fully present. According to junior,  Anthony Sikorski, only 15 out of the 55 players on the team were in Grand Junction during those two dates.
The Sabercats went undefeated in the tournament, leaving the great mountains with an unforgiving win. The team played Durango, Aspen, Smoky Hill, Fruita Monument, Grand Junction, and Steamboat Springs. However, the most competition they saw came from Steamboat, Aspen, and the hometown team Grand Junction. But in spite of the competition, the boys came out undefeated and left the Rockies with a cheery smile the whole bus ride home.
