Avree Linne

Fossil Ridge High School senior Avree Linne is a second year writer for Etched in Stone. Linne rejoined the EiS staff after scheduling conflicts during her junior year prevented her from being a part of the team. Her passion for writing and journalism pushed her to rejoin the staff and pursue journalism again before graduating. Linne plans on writing mostly for the Arts beat. Other activities Linne enjoys include acting and working as a technician in theatre, being a club officer in Drama Club, and working with RidgeTV. After high school Linne plans on pursuing a double major in political science and journalism.

Born in Albuquerque, Linne lived in New Mexico and Florida before moving to Fort Collins when she was 10. She is the second youngest of five girls and has lots of animals, including 20 chickens, on her farm. Her aesthetic can be described as extra large men’s flannels and her favorite music genre is dream rock. For fun Linne and her friends will get together and play board games, her favorite is Trivial Pursuit, or analyze and watch movies. (But she claims they aren’t nerds or anything). Going into her senior year she wants to be more optimistic and have a more positive outlook on people and school. Which she hopes will help her become more empathetic.
