Fossil Ridge High School played their first home game of the season against Poudre High School on Tuesday, September 19. After losing their undefeated streak at the Eaglecrest Tournament on Saturday, September 16 their home win comeback was the best way to get back on their feet. When the second set began the Sabercats came out even stronger than the first set. Blocking, spiking and serving their way to a huge victory. Fossil checked in a JV player, junior Rachel Luek, who was a key role in assisting the Varsity team in their win in both the second and final set. The second set ended with Fossil winning with an impressive 25-6.

The final set was intense as the Impalas amped up their energy and gave Fossil a fair fight. It was an impressive set as the Sabercats scored the most points on serves and blocks than their other two sets. An impressive win for Fossil as they finished the game 25-16, defending their home court and putting them in a good mindset as they go into their next rivalry game.
