Sincerely Abbie

Dear Fossil,

Several of you are starting to feel like Christmas break could not come soon enough. I fully agree. Finals are right around the corner and it’s really hard to find motivation when all you can think about is where you’re traveling, all the free time you’ll have and all of the plans you’re making for break. But it really is important that you find the motivation to get it done. Here are some tips that might help you push through finals and do well.

Take a break from all of your studying and play some Christmas music and make some hot chocolate. Add the jumbo marshmallows for a little extra comfort.

If there is snow on the ground, go build a snowman. That stuff is not for little kids.

Are all the ornaments on your tree? If not, go decorate for a bit and listen to some more Christmas music.

Bake some cookies, decorate them, and then give them to your neighbor. Just kidding, eat them.

Go ice skating. The ice rink is up at Centerra and it is perfect for a little holiday fun.

Go buy a Snuggie, if you don’t already have one. Snuggle up with some hot chocolate and watch a Christmas movie. Preferably, Elf.

We are so close to break. Only 8 more days and we’re free. Study hard, but have fun. And if you need more tips, check out Chandler Gould’s list of holiday activities in Fort Collins.

Sincerely,
