Five songs to get you through the last weeks of senior year

Seniors are in the last go-round of the school year. Between choosing a college to attend and fighting the urge to not show up to class or turn anything in, the last thing we need to be doing is constantly scrolling through a playlist to find the right song. The five songs below are perfect to add to  your already well loved mix to get you amped before graduation.

[1.] “St. Patrick” (PVRIS, White Noise)– “St. Patrick” is one of those songs that everyone can and will enjoy. While you are in a funk, the electronic beat you hear in the background infused with some  drums will definitely get you out of your seat and moving.

[2.] “Alexander PI.” (Knuckle Puck, While I Stay Secluded)– If you are looking for a new dosage of pop-punk, Knuckle Puck is the  solution. Newly signed to Rise Records, these boys write like a 17 year old stuck between a rock and a hard place- but in a good way. If you want to listen to a song that justifies you throwing a punch to the wall, “Alexander PI.” will do the trick.

[3.] “Hallelujah” (Panic! At The Disco, Single)– Newly released on April 19, “Hallelujah” is the embodiment of a Panic! At The Disco single. The lyrics “All you sinners stand up sing hallelujah” captures  what every senior will feel at graduation: hallelujah.

[4.] “Dancing With A Wolf” (All Time Low, Future Hearts)– This album recently debuted No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and “Dancing With A Wolf” is one of the standout songs on the record. Drummer Rian Dawson legitimately carries the song for three minutes which  will cause unstoppable foot tapping.

[5.] “Tear In My Heart” (twenty one pilots, Blurryface)– You can’t really go wrong with twenty one pilots. In this song, the piano drum combo duo take their work to new levels. Even though the song can be perceived as a love song, anyone can fall in love with the guys’ quirky lyrics. “Tear In My Heart” has the potential to be the next song where you are constantly pushing the repeat button until you get sick of it.
