Etched in Stone

Maddie Booton

Sophomore, Maddie Booton is excited to be going into her second year of journalism. Booton is the Website Manager of Etched in Stone, and is also apart of the Activities Beat. Booton most enjoys writing Letters of Recommendation as well as photo essays. 

Other than journalism, Booton has been playing the piano for 8 years and really enjoys that.                                                                                     Booton also has a love of business because she is the Vice President of the Sophomore class DECA. Booton competed in the state level DECA competition in Sports entertainment marketing. She also went to DECA nationals in Atlanta, Georgia. She presented with the School Based Enterprise Team. 

At home, Booton lives with her mom, dad, and younger sister Lexi who is 9 years old and going into 4th grade. She also has 2 dogs named Lola and Layla. She also enjoys music from the 70s and 80s, her favorite song is “House of the Rising Sun” by The Animals.
