On Friday night Fossil Ridge’s football team had a bounce back victory against Mountain Range. After a tough loss last week, the Sabercats had a shut out victory, winning 28-0.

Fossil Ridge’s Kordell Atencio had his first of three touchdowns on the Sabercats first drive of the game.

“It was a great team battle; the offense scoring four times and the defense causing the shut out. It shows our strength as a team after last weeks heart breaking loss.” said senior corner Timmy Ehlers.

Griffin Roberts threw the ball very well and had 208 passing yards. He had one interception, but improved tremendously from the Collins game the previous week.

Atencio got into the end zone three times, racking up 114 yards on the night.

Cole Schilling had the fourth touchdown, running it in from the 3 yard line to make it 28-0.
