Finals week: also known as the week of no sleep and endless review packets is coming faster than you think. There are only two and a half weeks until the final exams and they affect your grades per semester drastically. Have you been in that position where it’s the night before an important test and you’ve literally done nothing. Haven’t looked at single paper, sheet of notes, or book…well don’t be that slacker this year!

Thursday December 17 and Friday December 18 are scheduled as our only two final days this winter. Some teachers aren’t fond of the idea of cramming 7 final exams into the time span of two days, so they are preparing their students early in order to be successful this winter. Exams that are as important as these are, are no joking matter. After months of hard work and going to class and also putting in the time outside of the school building, the last thing anyone wants is to fail these finals and end up with a report card reflecting a poorly taken test.

Many students take advantage of Coco Cram the week before finals week as well as getting help outside of the school in order to prepare. If you feel like you’re struggling, then find a tutor now. Don’t wait another two weeks, start preparing as soon as you can. It is never too early to study for exams this big.

Some students don’t take these exams seriously but these scores reflect directly onto your report card and school record. Clearly, this is no joking matter, be prepared this year and start studying now, you will appreciate it in the long run. There are opportunities here at school on December 8 from 3-5 and those are a great thing to take advantage of and talk to your teachers as well as others to get some help. 8 These last 13 days before are important, don’t fall behind.
