Downtown Fort Collins is a very popular place for nightlife activity or if you’re just looking for a good time out on the town with friends and/or family. With many shops and dining choices, restaurants ranging from little hole-in-the-wall coffee shops, to 5 star rated bistros, there is place for everyone. Although, if you find yourself at The MainLine, you will not be disappointed.

This restaurant is just the place if you’re looking for a relaxed and sophisticated sit down. With the neutral colors and wooden floors and seats, there is a homey feel that comes along with dinning at The MainLine. The dark furniture and dim lighting gives it a professional and easy going vibe as well.

With a menu consisting of handfuls of choices, including small appetizers like the unique Fried Brussels Sprouts with crispy bacon, balsamic reduction and creamy whole grain mustard sauce, as well as  the Angry Mac & Cheese made up of penne pasta, sambal and toasted breadcrumbs, you’re taste buds will never get bored when dining here. Along with the classic Chicken Wings and the Artisan Meat and Cheese Board, there is the very well liked, Ahi Tuna Tartare which is a favorite as well.

With an enticing selection of burgers, sandwiches, and large plates, it’s very hard to choose out of all of the mouth watering options they serve. If you’re feeling that a good old classic meal, go straight for the MainLine Burger which has ground chuck burger, lettuce, tomato, and onion on a toasted kaiser. If you’re feeling a bit more risky try the Bacon-Wrapped Meatloaf with mashed grilled red potato, buttered green beans, and hazel dell farms mushroom gravy. In the end there are many different plates to choose from, including those listed above and a handful of others as well.

This restaurant review gives plenty of good information, and it’s relevant to students at the school. Old Town is a popular dining location, and it was good to see which dishes were popular and tasty. My only complaint: looking at the title, it wasn’t completely clear that the MainLine is a restaurant. Add that somewhere in the title, and you’ll be set.
