A mixed season for soccer

The FRHS girls’ soccer team has already entered into the half way point of their 2016 season. The girls have recently split with two wins and two losses.

The team lost against cross town rival Ft. Collins 0-2. As well as Broomfield, with a final score of 0-3.

Although the team lost two tough games scoring no goals, they made up for it with their two most recent wins against Palmer Ridge and the Poudre Impalas. The Cats beat the Impalas with a score of 1-o and Palmer Ridge with a final score of 4-1.

Although it took a while to get the season going with so many weather delays, the season is finally speeding up, as they start to prepare for playoffs in the beginning of May. These athletes will play 6 more games in the regular season. The first being today at 6:30 pm on the FRHS turf vs. Horizon.
