Fossil Ridge’s varsity softball team had a tournament on Friday, August 26 and Saturday, August 27. The team had been ready and prepared to beat Air Academy going into the game. The team had good plays and stopped the opposing team from taking over and winning the game. Many people attended to watch Fossil vs Air Academy since it was their opening tournament.

The Sabercats took the win in the tournament, winning with a score of 4-0. Fossil made an effort to win and make it a great game. It was an intense game as the teams were up to bat. Parents, friends, families, coaches, and teammates were on the edges of their seats waiting for a team to score. Minute by minute, players would look at the score to keep in check with the score.

At the end, the crowd roared as the Sabercats won the whole tournament. Bringing down Air Academy to a loss. Luckily, everybody had a great time and played well. The teams cooperated and made an effort to win and to have fun with the game.
