Gorillaz, one of the most famed virtual bands in the world, are back with new singles that were released on Thursday,March 23. Their last full albums The Fall and Plastic Beach were both released in 2010 and numerous fans are excited for the new album titled Humanz to be dropped on April 28.

Fans have been long awaiting their release, including myself. Up until this announcement the band has only released one single after their last album.

The new album will feature numerous artist, including ones they have worked with in the past such as hip hop group De La Soul. They also work with many new artists, such as Benjamin Clementine in the single “Hallelujah money”.

In all of the excitement of the new album the band’s frontman, Damon Alburn, and the most of the all-star cast of Gorillaz held a secret show in London on Friday, March 24. All of the show was captured on the group’s Facebook livestream. All 14 new songs were featured, including their interludes and radio hits such as “Feel good Inc.”, “Clint Eastwood”, and “Don’t get lost in heaven”.

When the new album arrives fans will be excited to hear all the songs and hits to come with it.
