On Friday, April 7, Fossil Ridge High School students joined in the courtyard to enjoy food and drinks purchased from local food truck vendors. Mu Alpha Theta and Leadership by Design organized the event.

From 4-6 pm, Mama Perez Burritos, Bright Side Coffee, The Churn Ice Cream, and Charlotte’s Little Truck parked outside of Fossil. The trucks had a large crowd, as Trivia Night started at 6:30 pm. Mama Perez donated over 100 dollars, and The Churn Ice Cream donated 100% of its proceeds to Make-A-Wish.

After grabbing a snack from the food truck rally, students joined in teams to participate in Trivia Night. Mu Alpha Theta and Leadership by Design organized this event alongside the food truck rally.

The Fossil Ridge commons filled with students and their teams. The event team decorated the commons in a tropical theme with pineapples and tropical colors. The event ran from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. The winning teams were: Team Redundan in third place, Team Kung Alphu in second place, and Team Umizoomi in first place.

Today is the last day of events for Make-A-Wish; there will be a cornhole tournament in the commons after school organized by Fossil’s Key Club and a movie night at Cinamark on Timberline organized by the National English Honor Society. Tickets for movie night must be purchased through school pay.
