Dr. Cook will soon be leaving Fossil Ridge High School to retire after working more than 30 years in Poudre School District. She is going to be replaced by someone with plenty of experience working as a principal in PSD:, former principal of Zach Elementary Will Allen. The change will occur July 1.
Will Allen began his career in 1987 as a Spanish teacher in Oklahoma. After teaching in various schools in Oklahoma, he moved to Fort Collins and began his career in PSD. Allen has worked in many areas in the school district, from teacher to grant coordinator to technology coordinator, and was hired as the principal of Zach in TKTK. This will not be his first time working at Fossil Ridge; he helped open the school and worked here as a teacher in 2004.
