If you were to randomly ask Fossil Ridge High School students where they enjoy going to lunch, there is a good chance they would say Costco.
I recently went to Costco to see what all of the hype was about. From the insanely cheap prices, to the variety of food options, to the incredibly tasty food and extremely quick ordering process, it is obvious that Costco is a great place to go during lunch.
When people think of Costco, the first thing that comes to mind is the prices, and for high schoolers looking to save money, Costco is a great option.
I was able to get a huge slice of pizza and a drink for under $3. Along with this, every item on their menu is under $10, and their hot dog and soda combo costs a mere $1.50. In order to eat and shop at Costco, you need a membership, which has two options, $65 per year for the Business level and $130 per year for the Executive level.
Along with the cheap prices, Costco also has more than 20 different food or drink options.
Costco has something for everybody. When I went to Costco, I was shocked with the amount of options that were available at the food court.
If the incredible prices and variety of food options weren’t enough, Costco also has great tasting food.
The pizza and hotdogs at Costco are huge and flavorful. My favorite is the pizza because of its mouthwatering taste. When it comes to drinks, Costco has all of the popular drink options, and the ice cream and smoothies are some of the best that I have ever tasted because of their flavor and toppings. Most cheap food does not taste very good, but that is not the case with Costco.
To wrap up all of the amazing perks, Costco also has very short wait times.
When I attended Costco, the first thing I noticed was how quickly I was able to order. No matter how long the line is, Costco has a quick and efficient way of serving food. Especially during school hours, it takes 1-3 minutes to order.
Costco has insanely cheap prices, a large variety of food options, incredibly tasting food, and an extremely quick ordering process, and for all of these reasons, I would recommend Costco to all students looking to go out to lunch.
