Do you know what a triangle’s interior angles add up to? Or what was the first ever feature-length animated movie? If you said 180° and “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” then this Friday’s Trivia Night is made for you.
Trivia night will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 pm in the Fossil Ridge High School Commons. Teams must be 4-5 people. Cost is $17 per person through SchoolPay or $20 at the door. Link to sign up for Trivia Night
“Trivia Night is one of the largest non athletic events hosted here at Fossil. We host it twice a year, and we usually get around 200 people, 40 teams, some teachers as well,” said junior Sachit Srinivas, who serves on the MU Alpha Theta committee that puts on trivia night.
According to Srinivas, trivia night questions center around a theme, which this year is Hollywood Glam.
“We also have mini games, which means that after every round of questions we host a game where teams are welcome to come down to the floor and play games for prizes,” Srinivas said.
The committee has spent a significant amount of time planning for the event.
“Preparation has been going great. We have spent countless hours preparing to make it a fun experience for everyone participating,” sophomore Sofia Skiba said. “All of us are really busy and have a lot in our schedule, but we have found times to plan that works for everyone.”
All proceeds from trivia night will be donated to the Fort Collins Rescue Missions. They plan to donate around $2000, according to senior Misha Suthar, who also serves on the planning committee.
Students and staff are thrilled for the biannual event hosted by MU Alpha Theta.
“This will be my first year going and I’m really excited. I’ve heard great things about it,” sophomore Chaehee Kim said.
