Carrie Hintzman, our athletic secretary, has worked at Fossil for 12 years. Hintzman is responsible for so much, but some of the things she is in charge of are scheduling practices, building reservations, issuing orange cards, working most of the games, and finding people to work the games. Hintzman helps Mr. Walck with any tasks he might need somebody to complete.
Hintzman enjoys reading in her free time. She also likes to go to CSU football, basketball, and volleyball games. Hintzman likes working with students and going to Fossil sporting events, and all Fossil events in general.
Hintzman’s first job was babysitting. She worked at Johnson Elementary for 17 years before coming to Fossil. The principal at the time had a position open and wanted her to work at Fossil.
Before Hintzman became the athletic Secretary she worked the front desk for two years, then moved to the West wing for an additional two years, then became the athletic secretary, and has been in this position ever since.
Altogether, through her 12 years of service for the community Hintzman helps run the school and events smoothly, and she is a crucial piece of Fossil’s community puzzle.
