Vickie Bonnema is one of two editors-in-chief of Etched In Stone. When she isn’t contributing to the school paper, Vickie enjoys writing in a less journalistic nature. This includes short stories, fiction, fantasy, poetry and much more, oftentimes channeling her inner hopeless romantic into her stories. Not only a talented journalist and creative writer, but Bonnema is musically inclined as well. Having played the violin for four years, Vickie is now learning how to play the guitar—a great companion to singing. In the future, she sees herself involved in intense studies in Europe and may even pursue ministry. However, Vickie doesn’t think much of the future, as she said, “I just want to live in the present.” Aside from immersing herself in her writing, Bonnema loves the movie “How to Train your Dragon” and she wants to buy a Slug-Bug and paint it like Herbie Fully Loaded.
