An accomplished friend, family member, writer, and individual, Haley Osborn is a student whom exudes confidence and kindness. She is always reaching out to others and strives to be involved and excited in all of her schooling endeavors. Her family is her rock and she believes she wouldn’t be who she is without them. From the support of her family and her determination she learned that being a lifeguard has “hard work that doesn’t just apply when someone else is watching you, to succeed, you have to go the extra mile, do everything, and be consistent”. But beyond her go-to attitude and jumpstart lifestyle, Osborn enjoys the simpler sides of life. Her favorite movie is undoubtedly Mulan for the strong heroine and awesome storyline yet her favorite Disney character is wise Rafiki, the baboon in The Lion King. His hysterical sarcastic personality and intelligent demeanor inspires her to embrace his character. Her dream date would be with a guy who cares about her that would take her to dinner at an interesting venue, then go dancing or some other activity of the sort and finally drive to the countryside and stargaze, hand in hand. As a senior Osborn is looking into colleges to continue her studies and would love to attend NYU or Columbia University in New York, but is currently looking into University of Missouri for their oldest journalism school and prestigious title for a proper preparation to work in the print journalism world. For her last year in the journalism staff, Osborn wants to write more and learn more styles and techniques to become a better journalist and is very excited for the family factor of the class.
