Well, the rain has finally stopped and Fort Collins is ready to make the best out of what’s left of their summer. This weekend there are a few fun outdoor activities to do outside and plenty more to do inside. Since many events were canceled last weekend because of the flooding, it’s time to go outside and enjoy the sun while it lasts!

For one, FORTober Fest will take place this Friday and Saturday at Old Town Square. The event will start at 5pm on Friday and will last until 10:30pm. On Saturday it will start at 11am- 10:30pm. For everyone who’s never been to this fun event, there will be many bands playing of all genres as well as a professional bike stunt! This event is also entirely free and a fun way to spend a night out with friends.

For all the fashionistas at Fossil, ArtWear Fashion Week is starting this Friday and will last until next Saturday. During this week there will be many fun fashion events such as week-long sale galleries, a fashion show, and a Knit Wear Fiber Arts Market gallery. This fun event will start off with the ArtWear fashion show at 6pm and will last until 8pm on September 20th. The tickets are on sale now for 50- 65 dollars. The entire wardrobe for this show and event has all been made from recycled materials by local citizens. Although recycled, these outfits are very fashionable as well as affordable. Although there is an entire fashion week, there will only be one fashion show that will take place this Friday and you don’t want to miss it!

With fall starting this Sunday, this will be our last weekend of summer, so go outside, wear shorts, and enjoy it while you still can!
