10 ways to get a date to Homecoming

10 ways to get a date to Homecoming

Homecoming is just around the corner! There’s less than two weeks left to ask that special boy or girl to spend Oct. 12 dancing the night away. Shall you ask her in a silly way? How about in a romantic way? Maybe you don’t know what to do! Do not fret, Etched In Stone has you covered with 10 ways to ask her or him to Homecoming.

For the food lover

Order a pizza (be sure it is her favorite!). Write the question on the inside of the box and deliver it to her during class, or to her house.

For the mathematician

Enter the question in your love interest’s calculator and slip it into his backpack when he isn’t looking. When he uses his calculator, he will see your question!

For the chocolate lover

Place Hershey Kisses all over her bedroom floor. Place a sign somewhere in her room that reads, “Now that I’ve kissed the ground you walk on, will you go to Homecoming with me?” and sign with your name.

For the problem solver

Write your question with the details of the night on a piece of paper and cut it into puzzle pieces. Hide them in different places where he will find them. When he puts them together, he’ll see your question.

For the adventurous

Make a scavenger hunt around the school (or town). In each spot, include a hint and a rose or balloon. The last location will lead her to you with the question.

For the car fanatic

Sticky note his entire car and spell out Homecoming. It is a grand gesture bound to catch his attention.

For the humorous

Write the question on a note and leave it on the front porch. Along with the question, leave two rocks (one incredibly big one and another small one). On the large one, write “no” and on the small one write “yes.” Include in your note to bring one of the rocks to answer her question. It will be impossible for her to say no!

For the music lover

Surprise him with a serenade! Make it a sappy love song and ask afterwards. Do it somewhere slightly public to make it more dramatic.

For the artist

Use sidewalk chalk to decorate her driveway with the question. When she gets home or wake-up, she will see your question!

For the goody-two shoes

You will need the principal’s permission to do this one. Send your love interest a pass to the principal’s office. When he gets to the principal’s office, the principal will ask the question for you, with you waiting outside the office.
