Pentatonix Rise to Fame

Pentatonix Rise to Fame

The music world has changed as of last week as Pentatonix rose out of the shadows and made a top of the line album. Pentatonix is now on the charts, but they are not just on them they have risen above Katy Perry and Celine Dion.

In the new album the five artists who make up the group have successfully made an album completely with just their voices. They are an a capella group, a group of people that make music with only voices including beats and musical instrument sounds. That’s right they have composed songs and remixes all with just their voices and it has brought them to the top of the charts. It would seem unlikely for them to get so far but the music they have produced has the music world raving and it seems as though they are unstoppable.

The group started up in a little high school in Texas with three members. After they entered a contest to meet the cast of Glee the group realized their potential and the views on YouTube started racking up. After they gained this attention they went off to separate colleges but eventually met back up with an extra member and made themselves a name in the 2011 season of the Sing-Off.

Not only has Pentatonix risen to the top of the music charts but they also won a YouTube music award. Pentatonix is now getting ready for their European tour and the shows are already selling out.
