Fossil Ridge High School played Broomfield High School on Thursday, September 29 in the Fossil main gym. It was Fossil’s first serve that put them in the lead as always, proving why they’re undefeated champs. The game was much different for the volleyball team because their usually huge fan base was gone, supporting the football team on military night instead. However the girls were pumped and kept their spirits high and showed Broomfield just what they are made of. Broomfield got in some lucky points because of Fossil’s small errors and the first set quickly comes to an end. The score at the end of first set was 25-14, a win for Fossil.
Broomfield dominated the second set, taking an immediate lead. Fossil didn’t coach any quitters though, and soon their lead went from 0 to 9. Broomfield tried to catch up but Fossil finished with a score of 25-18,another win for Fossil.
The final set began and Fossil lost their mojo. Broomfield took off and gained an impressive lead over the Sabercats. With only 10 points until Broomfield would have won, Fossil picked up their intensity and began scoring more points. It was neck in neck until the very end, but Fossil prevailed. The game ended with a score of 25-16, securing the win for the Sabercats. Fossil proved that no one can beat them.

Lots of detailed information from the game. Very useful for those who want to know how our teams are doing, but can’t go to the games. Well written with a positive attitude and puts a spotlight on how great Volleyball is at Fossil. Awesome!
