After a rough couple of games last week, the SaberCats baseball team pulled out a (9-3) win over Greeley West High School yesterday on Tuesday, May 2. As this 2017 season comes close to it’s end, the ‘Cats are finding it more and more crucial to play their best.
Last week, the team suffered an embarrassing (0-10) loss against Mountain Range High School along with a (5-6) loss to Horizon High School. With this win against Greeley West, the teams record has progressed to (4-13) after a slow start to the season.
Senior Dayton Williams commented after the game, that it looked like a different team than the one who played Mountain Range last week. The boys were ready, and after pulling ahead, only picked up the intensity. The teams last game is tonight at home against Monarch High School at 4;00 P.M.
Come out and support the ‘Cats as they close out this season!
