Cami Corp

Cami Corp, a junior at Fossil Ridge High School, has been in the journalism program for three years. She originally joined journalism with the intent of becoming an investigative reporter, but through her classes realized that her skill set is better suited for behind the scenes journalism. Cami has contributed to the “Bored and Hungry” column and was the broadcast editor last year. This year, she is looking forward to exploring other roles in journalism. As an art enthusiast, she enjoys painting nature scenes with acrylics and watercolors. She is very excited about taking a painting class this year and hopes to improve her skills. Cami is also a video game enthusiast who likes to play games such as Skyrim and Overwatch. When not playing video games or painting she serenades her turtle, Fish, with the ukulele.

With her older brother Jared Corp at Fossil, Cami sometimes feels overlooked, but hopes to change that by becoming more involved in activities at Fossil. She is looking forward to attending the school dances and activities. Cami is interested in joining the Drama Club and looks forward to continuing to be a part of the Gay Straight Alliance. This year she wants to focus on developing her “people skills”. She is excited about making new friends and spending time with them.
