Volleyball still undefeated as they head into their first tournament

Fossil Ridge High School varsity volleyball played two away games the week of September 11. Fossil played both Monarch High School and Loveland High School. The girls remain undefeated in league play.

Fossil played Monarch on Tuesday, September 12. The Sabercats beat Monarch in all three sets. They finished with a score of 25-6 in the first set and 25-9 in the second set. The final set was more intense but Fossil prevailed winning 25-21.

Fossil played Loveland on Wednesday, September 13. Loveland had an unfortunate opening set, as they came close to a win, but the Sabercats overpowered them and finished the set 25-21. Both the second and third sets ended with a score of 25-21.

Fossil has an undefeated record 4-0 as they continue their season. Fossil competed in the Eaglecrest Tournament Friday, September 15. They beat Pine Crest High School in three sets. The scores of the sets were 25-16, 25-18 and 25-22.

Come support the team at their first home game on Tuesday, September 19 in the main gym at 6:30. The Sabercats will play Poudre High School and the theme for the game has yet to be announced. Congratulate and wish the girls luck as they continue in their season.
