New bag policy at French Field
September 4, 2019
Gameday bag policies have changed for French Field ticketed varsity football games. Starting this 2019-2020 school year, French Field is only allowing clear bags, small clutch bags, and wallets. This new policy is to provide a safer environment for everyone attending the games. Additionally, this will make sure there is no violence or anything dangerous being brought onto the field. Poudre School District is hoping for a quick adjustment since some families are familiar with Colorado State University’s clear bag policy.
PSD is no longer allowing people to bring backpacks, camera cases, purses, skateboards, tobacco products, noisemakers, soft and flexible seat cushions, disposable water bottles and diaper bags. Clear bags should be no larger than twelve inches by twelve inches or a one gallon freezer bag, and purses should only be four and a half by six and a half inches or smaller. Each person is only allowed to carry in one approved clear bag and a clutch purse.
Make sure to bring the right bags, purses, and items or they will not be allowed to be brought in.

It’s really unfortunate that this has to happen, but thank you for writing a nice, concise article about it. I’m looking forward to seeing your first sports articles of the year!
