Your all inclusive guide to Make-a-Wish Week

Fossil Ridge High School is ready and excited to celebrate Make-a-Wish week, where we will be raising money for Avery, our Make-a-Wish kid this year. Etched in Stone will be continuously covering events as they happen this week, but in case you still want to sign up for any events, here is a one stop shop for all events and times. 

Here is a rundown on what, where, and when each event for Make-a-Wish week will be. 

Sunday, April 3
Walk-a-Dog-a-Thon: Outside Fossil Ridge from 10-12pm. Pay $7 on SchoolPay and walk your dog around Fossil for the chance to win food and prizes. Put on by FRESH club. Want more info? Check out our pre-event article here

Bowling Night: Taking place at Chipper’s Lanes from 5-7pm. $20 per person, and put on by Science National Honor Society. 

Monday, April 4
Game Night: Come to Fossil Ridge from 4:30-7:30pm to play games and raise money for Make-a-Wish. $5 to participate, and there will be board, card, and video games. Put on by Rho Kappa, Computer Science Honor Society, and Games and Simulation Society. 

Restaurant Night at Panera: Come to Panera at Council Tree from 4-8pm. Show a flyer from around the school and Panera will donate 20% of sales to Make-a-Wish. 

Tuesday, April 5
Dodgeball Tournament: Participate in the Dodgeball Tournament from 6-8pm at Fossil. It costs [ ] and is put on by National Honor Society. 

Restaurant Night at BJ’s: Come to BJs from 4-8pm and show the flyer to donate!

Friday, April 7
Food Truck Rally: Come to Fossil from 4-6pm to enjoy food trucks! Trucks include Momma Perez Burritos, Bright Side Coffee, The Churn Ice Cream, and Charlotte’s Lil Kitchen. Sponsored by Mu Alpha Theta and Leadership by Design.

Trivia Night: Come fight to the death for trivia! 6:30-9:30pm in the Fossil Commons, with a chance to win prizes. $15 when you sign up before with QR code, and $20 day of. 

Monday, April 10
Cornhole Tournament: 4:30-7:30pm at Fossil, $7 per person with teams of two. Pizza and drinks will be provided.  

Movie Night: Pay $5 on SchoolPay and come see Despicable Me at Cinemark on Timberline, starting at 7pm.
