2 Weeks 2 Give comes to an end with spectacular Disco Trivia Night

On Friday, March 29 Mu Alpha Theta, Fossil Ridge’s math honor society, organized a Disco themed trivia night in the commons. Being one of the only events out of the 14 to completely sell out, trivia night was expected to raise around $3,000.

Trivia night provided not only intriguing and fun questions but also delicious food, snacks and games throughout the night; for example, a hula hoop competition.

Many students returned from previous trivia nights. Elyssa Bauerle, a senior, explained “the first time around was a great learning experience” and other students such as Piper Fullerton said they were looking forward to “not getting last place”. In total there were around 40 teams that participated.

In preparation, Ella Maroni described Mu Alpha Theta’s process as “Writing questions for months” based on “random facts built up in our heads”. Fellow member Melody Li explained that setting up trivia night was “nice and chill, we just set up lights and it was a lot of fun.”

Proceeds from this event went to the Center Family Outrage, an organization focused on local familial and substance abuse.

Overall, the event was a huge success, many dressing up in the craziest and most exciting outfits. Huge congrats to the the winning team: The “Guys”
