The Fossil Ridge Cheer and Dance Teams had an exciting and successful season filled with all their hard work, dedication, and strong performances. Both teams spent many months preparing for competitions, putting in a lot of hours at practice and pushing themselves to do their best.
Throughout the season, the Fossil Ridge Dance Team competed at League, DTU Regionals, and State. At DTU Regionals, the team placed third overall, which was a big accomplishment for the season. The Dance Team also competed at UCA, earning second place in the Gameday division. The dancers performed

in both Gameday and Hip Hop, with the team being more confident in Hip Hop.
The Fossil Ridge Cheer Team also had a successful season with several strong placements. They competed in multiple events and showcased their skills in both Gameday and Traditional routines. At UCA Regionals, the team earned first place in Small Varsity

Gameday and first place in Tumbling Gameday.
As a final competition for their season, both the Cheer and Dance Teams traveled to Orlando, Florida, to compete at Nationals. Competing at Nationals was a memorable experience for both teams and served as a celebration of all the hard work and dedication they put in throughout the season. At Nationals, both teams finished as silver medalists and are bringing home two trophies!
Reflecting on the Nationals experience, senior Lily Kruse shared, “It was a really good week with my team, and I feel like we all just bonded a lot and we were really proud of how we did.” She says, “It was so exciting, we got second in Gameday and then 10th in Hip Hop”.
As the season comes to an end, the Fossil Ridge Cheer and Dance Teams look back at everything they have accomplished. From strong placements to national recognition, both teams represented Fossil Ridge with great determination and school spirit.
