Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)
Big on tradition, you probably don’t stray from the typical giving of flowers and chocolates. February 14th is a day to please those around you, and you never fall short of doing so. Being the driven person that you are, you’ll go out of your way to make everyone feel special on this day.
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
Valentine’s Day is your day to shine, and you’re probably the kind of person who passes out valentines to all your friends and family as well as your significant other. You enjoy spreading the love and celebrating a day filled with hugs and chocolate. Having this day fall within your sign, you’re likely to have good feelings towards Valentine’s Day.
Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
Valentine’s Day is a day for passion, and you’re one of the most passionate people around. Put your passionate energy to good use because you’re probably one of those people who will go to any length to show you care for someone. Be extravagant: giant teddy bears, flowers, dinner…..nothing’s too much for you!
Valentine’s Day is sometimes nick-named single awareness day and whether you have a significant other or not, you are definitely not into public displays of affection. Being the shy person you are Valentine’s Day is just not your cup of tea. But try to make the most of it and spread the good feelings.
You might as well have a bow and arrow because you’re one of those fans of Valentine’s Day being the hopeless romantic you are. You’ll go all out; nothing’s too much for your significant other. Or, if you’re single, you’re probably that person meddling with other people’s love lives and playing cupid for them. No harm in that though, everyone deserves to be happy on that special day!
Charming and chatty, Valentine’s Day may not be your favorite but you probably at least tolerate it. If need be, you’ve got all the romantic stops ready to pull out. And if not, well there’s no harm in buying a big box of chocolates for yourself; besides you deserve to treat yourself well.
As this is the month of love you may be having a hard time. Either stressing about what you’ll do for a significant other or having a lonely day, it’s going to be difficult. But surround yourself with those you love and whom love you and relish in the true meaning of Valentine’s Day; showing your love for others. A quiet dinner or movie would suit you just fine.
Although Valentine’s Day isn’t centered around big parties and lots of people getting together – which tends to be your thing – don’t get bummed out. You’ll enjoy a break from all your friends and spending an evening with a significant other, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun! Try something different this Valentine’s Day, like salsa dancing or Dynamic Ceramix for you and your significant other.
Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
Even though you may not be huge on showing affection, Valentine’s Day is when you avoid those personal restrictions and show a little love. Try opening up and doing something romantic for your significant other or sweet for someone you love like homemade valentines or baking something delicious and heart-shaped! Just wait; you’ll see how much it means to them!
Libra (September 23 – October 23)
As balance rules your life, you’ll want equilibrium when it comes to Valentine’s Day. You’re one of those people that may be embarrassed from a huge display of love by your significant other, but you also want a little show of affection. Don’t worry, if people know you, they’ll keep it simple with a dinner and roses, perfect for your personality!
Scorpio (October 24 – November 21)
Valentine’s Day is your holiday. Love, passion, and a day devoted to you and those you love is what Scorpios live for. You’re definitely a traditional valentine with a little flare. Chocolates and flowers, sure. But go for something memorable, like a beautiful serenade or a heart-felt interpretive dance. Just don’t get too odd, make it cute and thoughtful.
Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)
You’ll want to do something adventurous for Valentine’s Day. Whether it be a hike, skiing or making dinner together (trust me, it can be crazy) and going for a midnight drive, you’re going to want to be creative. Rein it in a little though. Because although it may sound fun, work for more romance. Maybe a moonlit walk around town and fondue at The Melting Pot; you can still cook your food!
