Beth Farrand, Arts Writer
Beth Farrand is in her senior year at Fossil Ridge. She is taking journalism for her first time and is very excited to start branching out and meeting new people. Farrand is one of eight children from her parents, Heather and Quentin. They spend lots of time together as a family Their favorite thing to do is to spend time outside. As she is the third born child, she has grown up and learned a lot from her older brother and sister, and she also helps out with her younger siblings a lot.
Farrand loves music and is very talented as she plays many instruments including the piano and violin, and is teaching herself how to play the guitar and cello. Her mother and grandmother taught her at a young age which is why she is so passionate about music, she has also played in orchestra for 6 years. Although she loves music, her favorite subjects in school are science and art. In her free time she likes to take her two dogs, Bailey and Trucker on walks and loves to play with her pet bunny Bella. Her hope for college is to go to The University of Northern Colorado to study Nursing.
