Kayra Russo is a senior taking Journalism 2 for the first time. Russo took reporting and editing and decided to continue in this class because she likes all of the opportunities it gives her. Russo’s goals for this year include writing features and engaging on social media; she aims to make her work fun and interesting for the viewers who see it.
In her free time, Russo enjoys spending time with friends, visiting Horsetooth, and playing the piano. Russo finds interest in health science and is currently taking a patient care class to get certified. She plans to major in health science and nursing, then work at clinics like Columbine.
