Zach Salazar, Staff Writer
Zach Salazar is currently a senior at fossil ridge high school. Embracing Journalism, Salazar wants to step out of his comfort zone to improve his writing skills and interview many others.
Outside of school, Salazar enjoys hanging out with friends and playing lots of video games. Spending about ten hours a week, his favorite games are Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and Rocky League.
As a Coloradoan, Salazar grew up on the northern side of Fort Collins and moved when he was in fifth grade. The transition was hard at the beginning, however, it opened up new opportunities for him. “I had to move away during fifth grade so I lost all like a lot of my friends during that time, but it was really fun. I got to meet a lot of good people.” Salazar said. Not to mention, Salazar currently has a dog, a Japanese spits, cocker spaniel, for three years now.
When talking about his experience at Fossil, Salazar remarked that he met one of his now best friends, and a place that will always be in part of his mind. His current favorite class this year is government.
Inspired by his sister who graduated from her masters degree, Salazar is really passionate about becoming an architect. And have been fantasizing about it since he was a kid.
In the future, Salazar wants to go to Front Range Community College. He’s currently in the Ascent Program.
