Alyssa Perez

What once was a hobby in middle school turned into so much more for Alyssa Perez. Her friend with dance experience convinced Perez to join her in trying out for the team and it soon grew to be her passion. “Dance is my favorite getaway from school and stress of life in general,” Perez explains. Her talent has led her to become a recent nominee for CHSAA All-State First Team. She plans to continue dancing after high school and to try out for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Grand Canyon University. Her favorite part was the football games and holds close the memory of her and her team at Nationals in 2022 when fireworks went off on a roller coaster. “[I am] so proud of my team and thankful for our coaches for believing in us,” Perez says.
