Dr. Chaplain will serve as Fossil’s new principal
On the morning of Monday, March 5, Poudre School District announced Fossil Ridge High School’s principal as Dr. Julie Chaplain. Following the termination of Mr. Will Allen’s contract, Dr. Chaplain served as interim principal for one year. She will now have a contract for five years. Upon the announcement, staff stood and applauded for the continuation of Dr. Chaplain’s legacy at Fossil. Chaplain was one of the teachers who opened Fossil in 2004, and she considers it an honor to be a leader of the school going into the 2018-19 school year.
