Girls tennis takes a win over Greeley West

Fossil Ridge girls’ tennis team had a match against Greeley West on Thursday, March 30th. The girls varsity won 7-0 against Greeley West and JV won as well. The varsity team has three singles and four doubles to complete the team. Fossil’s Erica Wiley (senior) , Emma Houghton (senior), and Cambri Van Tassell (senior), are the first, second, and third rankings  for singles on varsity. Errin Hogan/ Lindsay Noble (seniors), Amita Padey/ Savannah Smith (seniors), Hanna Preiss/ Maddie Torrey (sophomores), and Kim Callamore/ Tara Toepke ( juniors), are the first, second, third, and fourth rankings for doubles on varsity.

2D. Amita Pandey/ Savannah Smith defeated Jana Sherif/ Alicia Cruz 6-2,6-2

3D. Hanna Preiss/ Maddie Torrey defeated Brittany Ashley/ Marlene Placencia 6-1,6-2

4D. Kim Collamore/ Tara Toepke defeated Britany Self/ Faith Escobar 6-3, 6-1
