In the week of March 4 to March 8, Fossil Ridge High School will be hosting its annual Make-A-Wish week. During this time, the school will raise money for Make-A-Wish, whose mission is “grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a critical illness.” In particular, these funds will go towards Cooper Logan, a nine year old boy from Timnath who was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease—and will be used to send Cooper to Disney World.

In order to raise money, Fossil’s Student Council will be hosting a series of schoolwide events. These will begin with a showing of Incredibles 2 at Fossil on Friday, March 1, and conclude with a Sadie Hawkins dance on Friday, March 8. The events will proceed over the week between as follows:

  • Friday, March 1, 6:30 p.m.: Elementary School Movie Night
  • Tuesday, March 5, 7:00-8:00 p.m.: Prom Fashion Show
  • Wednesday, March 6, 6:00-8:00 p.m.: Trivia Night
  • Wednesday, March 6, 7:00-8:00 p.m.: Panera Fundraiser
  • Thursday, March 7, 12:30-1:15 p.m.: Drama Performance

  • Friday, March 8, 5:00-8:00 p.m.: Potbelly Fundraiser
