Explore the stories of women pioneers in journalism

Every March, people around the world celebrate International Women’s Day, which takes place on March 8 of every year. This day celebrates “ the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women” according to the International Women’s Day website. In honor of Women’s History Month, I wanted to honor some of the pioneering female voices in journalism. These women have revolutionized journalism and have reported on some of the most important event in United States and world history.
