Fossil Ridge seniors end the year with annual People’s Choice Awards
Seniors exit through the tunnel to wrap up their career at Fossil.
On May 19, Fossil’s underclassmen ventured to the gym for the annual People’s Choice Awards. Seniors sat in the middle of the gym, while the rest of the students celebrated them from the bleachers. Due to COVID-19, PCA was the first indoor assembly of the 2021-22 school year and the first since the Fall of 2019’s Homecoming Assembly. Students were awarded for various categories, videos by Ridge TV were showcased, and the staff band, Staff Infection, played three songs. After the assembly, underclassmen gathered outside for the senior walkout, where seniors walk through the “tunnel” made by the underclassmen fittingly reminiscent of the staff tunnel they entered the school through as Freshmen.
