At FRHS
This week at Fossil there are a couple events going on.
Today after school the cast list for the spring musical will go up, so make sure to check it out and see if you got in! Tonight, there will also be a basketball game at 6:30pm against Mountain View so bring your jacket, gloves, and hats and come support our amazing basketball team!
All State Choir will also be taking place next Thursday. Good luck to everyone who is planning on going!
Have a great weekend!
Around Town
With Fort Collins covered in snow, most of the activities around town have either been cancelled or are unbearable for those of you who aren’t warm blooded.
One event that is still going on (and is in the heated Lincoln Center) is Ballroom with a Twist. Featuring professional dancers from Dancing with the Stars and finalists from So You Think You Can Dance, this event is perfect for an exciting and unique night out. This event is Feb. 6 through Feb. 8 and tickets are available online for $38. Bring a few friends and the ticket price lowers to $35. For more information and to buy tickets, visit the Lincoln Center website.
If you are strong enough to brave the winter wonderland that the town has become, Northern Colorado Astronomical Society is providing telescopes in Fossil Creek Park for stargazing. This event is Feb. 7 at 7:00 p.m. and is completely free with no registration required. So bundle up and meet at the parks parking lot for this unique experience.
